Thought it might be interesting to see who is going where over the Holiday break.

We are off to Dubai for a few nights. Keen to see the Burj Khalifa light up for NYE, afternoon tea at Burj al Arab, a day trip to Abu Dhabi to visit the Grand Mosque and Ferrari world, and a Night Desert Trek. And on the way back a debut in the Qantas F A380 to compare with EK op up last year.

Who is next? :p

Sounds great Pushka. We are spending a quiet Christmas at home. Heading off early January for a week in LA followed by a week skiing in Whistler.

I think the first week in January I'm going to drive Sydney to the Adelaide Hills via the Murray River and back via Broken Hill. Need a road trip rather than another plane one. :D

Matt

We're working through Christmas and heading off to Sri Lanka mid January.

Flying to Melbourne on Christmas eve for a few days and then 10 days in NZ with daughter, her husband, and her in laws, should be a hoot.

Looking forward to my first time in NZ and flying Emirates J

Boy, you do get around Pushka! Does looking at my lounge room wall count? :(

Nothing exciting in the L_t_L household though we are doing a short Pacific Is cruise at the end of January. Looking at HKK and Japan for the autumn leaves this time next year (been a while since I was there) and probably a short something during the year. Antarctica still on the radar....

Don't forget the TR, P.

We are off to the US for the holidays this year. Christmas in New York, NYE in New Orleans and some other US cities in Jan. :)

Travelling to Melbourne on the 25th. Have tickets for the Boxing Day test match.

My plans are boring.

Back to Sydney Christmas Eve then back Brisbane on Monday to work until New Years Eve then back Sydney for a few days. Should get 5-6 relaxing games of golf in that time.

Some nice trip reports coming up then!
I think it is good to get a mix of quiet relaxing Holiday breaks and then mix it up with travels.

The one thing I love about this time of the year is that none of our clients wants to know us! Perfect for a no email period. AFF on the other hand? Plenty of time to enjoy.

We will be driving to Sydney, Christmas with our grandchildren, and a few days in Armidale on the drive home to QLD.

Two full weeks back "home" in Melbourne and Victoria with extended family and some friends. Looking forward to seeing my nieces and nephews again, and also will appreciate a couple of weeks of variable weather (hopefully hot, cold and everything in between).
