I was too quick to post. I am now spending the next few days working in SW Vic. And as I am on call for the duration, it will be a dry NYE. Oh well.

Just packed our bags for VA49 to Bali tomorrow morning @ 0915. Are we the last Aussies to goto Bali?? Only 5 nights but will be good to spend some time with the better half.

Not sure if you are the last - but plenty here - was really quiet from Dec 23 when we arrived - Double 6 where we are staying only 50% over Christmas - started to get busy Dec 27 on - now on Dec 31 every hotel at 100% - gonna be a wild NYE here - we have a fabulous 5th floor room overlooking Double 6 beach in Seminyak right where all the fireworks scheduled - will try to get some pics.

So I may be a convert.. We did seminyak for a few nights then Conrad Nusa Dua for a couple of nights and that was great. Will be back for sure!
