I was excited to click through to start using the new SQ member portal area.

The layout has been enhanced but I didn't feel there was anything extra.

Upon searching redemption bookings there is now an option to display more flight combinations. That's nice.
A pop up refresh of miles and taxes upon selecting a flight, without having to submit to next page.

Still no easy way that I could see to search for redemption availability across a range of days similar to other airlines "Flexible with travel date"
Even with my settings set to Brisbane, quite often will depart to flights from SYD.
Loss of the Previous Searches drop down for easy retrieval of earlier searches.
Redoing and making minor changes to bookings will result in the search defaulting to an economy SYD-SIN redemption.

Anyone else persevering with the new interface?

all I can say is, thank god they're doing a beta this time rather than just rolling out a broken portal like they did with the last one

Not a fan of beta....used to access SQ flights booked on lifemiles, to book seats. Now doesn't allow me, so have to phone up. Doesn't look like an enhancement to me.

The best way to search across (a week) is via the app - at least on android. I use that first for availability, then confirm and book via the website.

The most annoying thing for me is that you can't access the seat map directly which was handy for working out what configuration aircraft was rostered on.

Definitely liking the beta – much quicker calculation of taxes without having to click through to the next screen.

The only issue is that I can't seem to do a multi-city award booking. Have to revert back to the current site to look these up.

Looks like the beta label is gone.

I notice that I'm not completely unable to book a multi-city redemption, now that I can't even revert to the old site. No option to add a stopover. Disappointing.

The new website is missing Add stop-over , any idea around it ? thank you

Seems to be a little Irish in think but I notice that now after selecting a Redemption flight that this window pops up. Not sure of the thinking process here. I'm guessing first search for the days that you want to depart from your home port and destination ports. Then when you have those results, selecting the flights will pop up the Add Stopover window.

Seems they may have missed the user testing on that logic or at least it's not logical to Aussie minds..

I too couldn't immediately see where it was for commercial bookings.

OK, found it, for Commercial (paid) bookings they have added it further down the booking 'flow'.

So we need to make an assumption that stopovers will be available in the numbers required for the paid booking to go through a bit of booking pain first.

I wonder what the business logic is on this one.

I'm getting a weird issue where a number of bookings I've waitlisted, cancelled and even duplicates of actual bookings are appearing in my account. Only one of these is an active booking.

Anyone seen this before?

Gday

Last June i booked some flights for December 2015 and January 2016 that i cancelled and also noticed they were still appearing on the website in the past few weeks.

Must be a bug.

Pele.
