Sri Lankan Promo - one day only, approx half price business class (must be two pax)

Just received an email from FlySmiles - for bookings made on Valentine's Day only - two pax travelling together the base fare on the companion ticket will be refunded in full (depending on taxes and destination just under half off)

The only problem is they seem to have hiked up fares slightly...

based on today's prices:

SIN-CDG in March - first pax SGD2769, second passenger (taxes only) SGD663

BKK-CDG for May - which used to be pretty cheap - is now somewhat expensive - ~AUD2589 for the first pax, and second pax ~AUD683

I haven't checked other dates, maybe the ultra cheapies are still there?

• Flights valid for Business class return tickets purchased online at SriLankan Airlines | Flights to Colombo, Sri Lanka | The National Airline of Sri Lanka and on UL operated 3 digit flights ONLY.
• Offer valid for minimum Two Adult Tickets travelling together. At least one passenger must be a FlySmiLes member and must log in through their FlySmiLes account through the offer link to claim the offer.
• The payment for all the tickets has to be done at the time of booking and base fare of one ticket will be credited back to the original card used to purchase the ticket within 20 working days in the form of a cashback.

No kidding. Sick and tired of UL airfare promotions where only a small fraction of routes and dates are available at the cheap special price.

Funny you should mention... BKK-HKG was AUD120 each way per person in business class. Pretty cheap.

Funny you should mention... BKK-HKG was AUD120 each way per person in business class. Pretty cheap.

Argh. I gave up looking from their last promotion where airfare was still >AUD400 each way when it should have been ~20% off. I need flights in June and I could have bought a return with Harvey as my companion and flown alone.

Same with Velocity happy hour.

Argh. I gave up looking from their last promotion where airfare was still >AUD400 each way when it should have been ~20% off. I need flights in June and I could have bought a return with Harvey as my companion and flown alone.

Same with Velocity happy hour.

Under the promo (the fare is still available), round-trip business saver was 10,275 baht, with the taxes being 1835 baht. Total for two pax was then 12110, divided by 25 gave AUD488 for two pax return.

The standard 10275 fare is available still (AUD411 return)
