Can I use/transfer Velocity points into Skymiles for Delta US domestic upgrade?

I always go online with my booking and change my seats 72 hours prior and they're always available.

FIFOSuit when you make the booking do you tick the check box " complimentary upgrade request " on the passenger details screen ? or simply leave it and change seat inside timeframe ?

This is what I read on Delta.com

DELTA COMFORT+ MEDALLION UPGRADES.

Complimentary upgrades are obtained by first selecting a Main Cabin ticket. Then, on the Passenger Information screen check the box for a complimentary Delta Comfort+ upgrade. You will be notified of your upgrade via My Trips and email based on availability.

yes. Comp upgrades are done via Delta app as described. If request is recorded you will get a green tick saying upgrade requested. If not eligible for upgrade it will say not eligible for upgrade.

Then inside timeframe go in and check success and select seat.

The Delta app is a very functional app. Better than any I've used including QF,AA,VA and very bugfree

Quickstatus can you please assist with the upgrade request. I am on Delta.com now and cannot find that request an upgrade box to tick.. I must be blind.. I am sure it cant be this hard

I think you just click on the better seat you want in the seat map???. And see what the msg is

I do remember seeing and ticking a "request upgrade box". However I think this is only available if your request upgrade window is open. VAGold can request 24 hours before a flight - if you are referring to Y to C+ seats?

The cheapest tickets are not eligible for upgrade - fare bucket "E"

Its ok. I can't work it out. Fare class is L and you cannot select C+ with paying the extra at booking. It looks from reading the Delta info that you may have to be a sky miles member to see that box

Assume you have put in your VA FF number. As you are Gold, I think you will see the request ability pop up within 24 hours of your flight. VA Plat is 72 hours
