Dear members, sorry if this is a stupid question, but i just can't find a solution to it. I have booked rewards seats from qantas, singapore, cathay pacific, but virgin website is just so hard for me to do so.

i am looking for flights between Adelaide (adl) to shanghai (pvg) in business.
1: are there special page to search rewards seats only? it seems all i can find is normal booking page
2: are there any multi dates windows like qantas where you can see the availability of the flight in month or even just week screen?

i tried many dates in sep, oct and nov, all i get is 410k per leg, i believe that's just anyseat rewards.

thanks for reading.

ADL to PVG would be on SQ ... however it appears there is a issue online with no availability showing - this is one reason the high "anyseat" rewards are only showing

that is so sad, so does anyone know the general availability of such a route? and points may required? i found virgin mile calculator is not accurate when you booking via codeshare (flying SQ).

General availability in business can be difficult as 4 flights in total, however if you are flexible with days +3 either side and may be a stop over in SIN you will find something, however if you want more than 1 seat.... the more you want the harder it gets.

don't forget you can transfer your Velocity points to SQ and book direct with SQ, however the tax $$ is higher than booking with VA but the points levels are lower, also the availability can be better as they offer other reward types. There are a number of threads on here on how to do this and the pros and cons of it if interested

as for points levels ... 95000 one way + tax in Business using Velocity

When you go to the SELECT page, there is now a tab offering "show in points" - click this, then click "view all fare options". It expands to show reward seats, if any.

Not sure why they make you search harder for a reward seat. I just redeemed 90,000 points for a reward upgrade to J, but the reward tab disappeared right after confirmation - so we must have taken the only 2 seats on offer.

.

Have you actually tried this today for a normal booking, not an upgrade? I know the options you refer to, and they don't bring up any reward seats for any SQ flight for the last 2 weeks. For etihad flights, the reward seats display immediately. No need to find any button to press

No, I'm sorry that the Virgin website is a little cryptic at best - I have to use this option whether I am doing a dummy booking, searching for actual flights, or checking for reward seat availability.
