The Fare War Continues

Out of USA to Europe the fare wars are raging just like from OZ to the USA, never been a better time to buy if down the back of the bus, but good J fares are starting to appear.

I figure is USA is AUD 999 return, then Asia should be half - but its not so.
Cheaper on the way back - nope. With huge luggage increases for nasty all extra ones - they are probably up at the moment.
As the number of flights to USA is about the same - I reckon some collusion came to an end. Not that they never did it for airfreight - or is airfreight unchanged?
