I found it at a bit over AUD $1800 on MH which didn't seem too bad at all.

Angled lie-flat with very bad reviews. I can't believe I missed the QR one. Both here and on FT, it was posted in threads I had already looked at and stopped reading cause they weren't relevant to what I needed *sob*

Is it? I didn't realise. QR 1-2-1 product looks pretty solid.

I've booked some CMB-MEL's with CX which were about $2500, so this would have been a huge saving (on an already great fare).

I stumbled across this just today at about AUD $1300. Plugs in quite nicely to my CMB-HKG-MEL-HKG-CMB flights I've already booked.

Fare seems to be gone now – lucky I had held a 48-hour reservation!

I've now booked it! Very, very happy with that.

Gratz mate. I did OSL-DOH on 788 in J. Wow. Not terribly private but such a nice ride and fantastic service. Let me know if you want to see some photo's.

I've got the A346 CMB-DOH, which is less great, but A380 J looks fantastic.
