Lounge Access On Arrival - With Guest?

Hi All

VA Gold member here. Flying on VA551 SYD-PER that gets in at 10.25. Have got a meeting at 12 close to the airport so would like to spend 30-45 minutes in the lounge on arrival.

I'm also travelling with a work colleague. Does the lounge access on arrival for VA Gold members also extend to their guest? It's a little hazy on the Velocity website.

Should not be a problem ... if you have lounge access then the guesting rights come into play.

Yep, I'm Silver w/lounge membership and frequently have a guest with me. Gold gives complimentary lounge membership with all the conditions that come with it.

I believe Notyourbag is referring to lounge access after the flight, which is not an entitlement a regular lounge member has access to.

I can't answer, but what does the AMEX plat card offer? I thought it was 2 yearly passes.......is it more than that? (I'm assuming you mean the AMEX Velocity plat card???)

Thanks. That sounds exactly what my +1 needs as she's dropped down from gold and the only real status benefit she really wants is lounge access (I can't see the attraction myself)!

My colleague was rejected trying to do this with a business platinum charge which has the same benefit as a platinum charge. I was Gold and able to enter with another guest at the same time.
