Yes, it's pretty good, but I could only find R/A class at this price, not I/A class. As far as I'm aware, R class generates zero Qantas SC's. The promo ends today.

It might also be worth noting that there is an error in the online QF points/SC calculator, in that it gives only 30 SC's from DOH to W. Europe, whereas the correct figure is 60. I've mentioned this to Qantas a couple of times, but they haven't fixed it. The table does, however, show the correct amount.

I'm so glad it's "simpler and fairer" now. DOH-CAI in A is easy, 150 SC. CMB-DOH seems impossible to figure out from the tables - Sri Lanka isn't in any of the region definitions. So looks like it's mileage based at 80 SC (2249 miles). So much easier

it does appear in the points calculator. It came up with 80SCs so that seems confirmed.

Well, I bit the bullet since I'm in CMB December anyway. Though it seems first and business are one and the same - like within the US, within the middle east "first" is just the title they give. Good for the SC though

That's a good deal! Do Aussie passport holders need to pre-arrange a visa or is there a visa on arrival? I've been trying to find out online, but all Egyptian embassies and consulate website seem to have been last updated in 1995...
