Oh I just love airline competitiveness!

From my very narrow search, it certainly looks to me like VA have matched the QF domestic J sale fare (BNE-CNS for me) without the requirement for a companion. Not as good as their J sale fares earlier this year, but it beats the QF single seat J sale of $449!

Yep, I had only just commented yesterday, that I was down to my last 4 J seats with VA .... now look, my list I'm working through with the bookings! I was so excited I didn't even have time to put them into my travel spreadsheet!

It keeps getting better. In my haste, I added in the 4 that I already have bought, so the cost is even less. I can't believe I have all my known flights organised up until next September and all bar 2 are in J (all bar 1 if I decide to buy a flexi and use one of the 3 upgrades I have left)!

Hopefully they see the light and match the QF international fares too! :D

That's one high tech spreadsheet you have there. The formulas must be intense ;-)

Yep, I invested in the very latest technology ... a pad and pen! The thing is, I'm quicker writing than entering into a spreadsheet. Might be the reason I stuffed up the additions though!

Funny thing happened yesterday with my team. I asked them to calculate the upper and lower tolerances in a few resistors with which we were working. Varying values, all with a +/-5% tolerance. They said they couldn't because they didn't have their calculators with them!
