ING Direct is running a referral offer on new Orange Everyday accounts:
My experience with ING has been pretty good so far - I do the vast majority of my banking online anyway, so the fact that they don't have any branches doesn't bother me very much (obviously it can be a bit problematic in emergencies and so on, but that's a price I'm happy to pay). Their Savings Maximiser interest rate is pretty good too.
Be quick - the 4,000 customer limit will probably be hit very soon
My referral link is: https://www.campaigns.ingdirect.com.au/refer/ECT854 (friend code ECT854). You need to register your details using the form, then proceed to open the account in the same name.
- Referral offer: you get $75, I get $75
- First 4,000 customers only
- You need to deposit at least $1,000 during a single calendar month from another account, by 30 September
- New Orange Everyday accountholders only (must not have had an account since 1 July 2013)
- $75 bonus will be paid in the calendar month after you satisfy the above conditions
- No monthly fees
- If you deposit at least $1,000 from any source (inc. salary) during a calendar month, in the next month you'll get:
- Instant rebate on all Australian ATM fees
- Bonus 1.25%pa interest (for a total 3.50%pa) on your linked Savings Maximiser account
- 2% cashback on all Visa PayWave purchases
