ING Direct is running a referral offer on new Orange Everyday accounts:


  • Referral offer: you get $75, I get $75
    • First 4,000 customers only
    • You need to deposit at least $1,000 during a single calendar month from another account, by 30 September
    • New Orange Everyday accountholders only (must not have had an account since 1 July 2013)
    • $75 bonus will be paid in the calendar month after you satisfy the above conditions
  • No monthly fees

My experience with ING has been pretty good so far - I do the vast majority of my banking online anyway, so the fact that they don't have any branches doesn't bother me very much (obviously it can be a bit problematic in emergencies and so on, but that's a price I'm happy to pay). Their Savings Maximiser interest rate is pretty good too.

Be quick - the 4,000 customer limit will probably be hit very soon :)

ING Direct are great, it's so nice not having to worry about finding a specific ATM to use.

It has changed the way I handle cash quite significantly - it's very nice not having to plan in advance to make sure you go past the right ATM!

Damn! I just saw this while trawling through old threads. I freaking JUST signed up for an ING account last night. But I haven't finalised it yet. I still have to go into Aus Post to verify my ID. Wonder if I can just reapply or add it to my current application?

Hi

Yes it's not a good an account as before (since they've scrapped the paywave rebate), but it still offers fee-free banking and the use of any ATM in Australia (subject to $1000 per month deposit) for free.

So for any easy $75, click on the link below, open an Orange everyday account and deposit $1,000 or more by 31-Oct (Referrer also receives $75)

I would imagine you would have to wait for one to be targeted to you in an email...

I've just received an updated offer, valid now until December 25. This is the first time I've ever posted a referral link on AFF so hoping for some ING love:
