I am looking for a recommendation for a transfer service to get us from AUH to Dubai.

Flying J but don't qualify for chauffeur (BFOD policy and all) so need to organise car service.

Thanks!

I'm doing the same in 2 weeks time and have decided to go with Uber because there is a promotion with MasterCard at the moment - AED100 off for the first ride in UAE.

I used to just get a taxi - sorry!

Unless you can take advantage of an Uber offer like @mmchow a taxi is your best option. Limousine will be 30-40% higher cost and not much better.

The only advantage of getting a limousine I'll concede is that the taxi drivers are often not very familiar with the other city. They'll happily drive you, but are not very confident with directions once they get there. Limo could be worth it if you also don't know where you're going, or are not going to a familiar hotel.

Thanks. Uber is not an option and our preference is to have a driver waiting rather than trying to get a taxi at 6am in the morning after 15 hours in the air. Cost is not an issue as it is a work expense.

There are always plenty of taxis waiting at Abu Dhabi International. You won't have a problem trying to get one .....

Long time ago now, but we just did taxi (from centre of Abu Dhabi to DXB). Was easy.

You wont wait long for a taxi (at any time) at AUH.

You could always book through the airline eg. activities.qantas.com (yes i realise they don't fly to AUH but i'm sure you could book a transfer). I used this in CPT and they were excellent (and reasonable price).

I like the juxtaposition of BFOD and "Cost is not an issue as it is a work expense.".

Lol yes!

No one generates reports on taxi costs but they do on non BFOD bookings!
