Maybe old news on here, VA's partner (Air) NZ is taking bookings direct in J/whJ from ADL to AKL, in its wide bodied 787 partly supplemented by the dowager int A320.
Bliss.
As reported on Adelaidenow website and AusBT.

What is interesting is that there was no VA representation at the announcement. While it is not a massive announcement, perhaps the falling out between the two airlines is becoming more and more pronounced.

Good news for those up the front but a mixed bag for those in economy given NZ (like most others) cram their 787s with nine across seating.

Space-wise, you're better off in a 320.

Tend to agree with that but maybe there's more chance of a seat next to you spare - at least initially depending on loads:). I'd be down for that! There is a row that doesn't have a window. Can't remember which # though.
