sorry for question but after reading the 24 month expire on velocity points i know you can earn or redeem and it set the clock back with all the points you have.

but if i you sign up to anz or amex and you once a year transfer them(like at 15% bonus time) is that earning you points and resets the clock for 24 month expire because it makes out family tranfers is not but I'm talking about credit card program transfers.

im guessing i could fill up at BP or go via estore and have auto-transfers set up on anz rewards but i dont want to loose my 60,000 points, with that said i will be booking MEL-SYD flights once or ever 2 years seeing i get a flight with anz travel adventures.

Once a year credit card transfer is enough to keep your account "active" as is regarded as earn

Moving points from one family member to another even when family pooling activated..... Keeps an account active?

I believe they stopped allowing family transfers to count as activity or that might just be QF i'm not sure.. I wouldn't risk it just fill up at BP at least once a year
