Looking for advice on if its worth taking up this card for the gold benefit.

will drop from diamond into the abyss at the end of march so looking at the gold benefit that comes with the card will allow lounge access more often the not. in particular im interested in gold treatment at HSW as its our goto when in melb with family and i value the lounge access enough to pay the annual fee on this card alone.

atm its $99 for first year then approx $300 ongoing, i figure three trips a year if lounge access given makes it worthwhile.

thoughts?

I've looked on line but I can see nothing that indicates the annual fee for this card. Can anyone shed light on this?

Last fee I paid was $275 in May last year so I guess it's that time again. I haven't seen anything about fee changes.

Good pick up rfur78! However when you click onto the link it takes you to the standard Maq Bank page that says its $99 in the first year. I see grounds to apply and then claim false advertising but I'd like to hear the views of my favourite lower deck lawyer - Dr Ralph.

Doc, you in the house?
