I'm keen for your advice about the best window seats in J on the Air New Zealand 772 and 773.

I imagine the window and seat combination is such that some seats have better window placement than others?

Any recommendations or advice?

I know these seats are angled towards the centre of the fuselage, but I do like being able to look out the window if possible.

Thank you.

Looking out the window is not an easy exercise in any seat..... ive got a bad neck and don't even try... (not that there is anything to see for most of the long hauls!)

Whilst I've travelled on both quite a bit, I'm not someone that tends to look out the window so not sure I can offer any specific advise sorry. However, I've tried to look at some photos online and to me it looks like 6A and 6K have a good view without too much head turning on both aircraft type.

I have flown the 777 can't remember if it was the 200 or 300 series in J with Air NZ, and can say that because of the herringbone style seating arrangement in J, its hard to sit at a spot that allows you to see out the window.
I have also flown in premY and this will allow you to see out as its seating is all straight ahead.
Also the 787 with Air NZ, its herringbone.
Herring bone is the seating in J where its angled, with Air NZ its angled towards the aisle, so, as other colleagues have mentioned, its very hard to enjoy J and also see out the window.
Seatguru will tell you on a seatmap basis what it looks like.
Just go for the lounge experience I say.

I like 4K, but have sat in a far few different seats on the 773. You'll always need a bit of a head tilt unfortunately, but I find the service makes up for it.
