Hey all,

Looking for a Qantas award seat on an Emirates flight in F or J. MEL - DXB non stop for April 2018.
I can find the EK409 which is a 05:00 flight but looking for the flight EK407 that leaves at 21:25.
I can see the flight on the Emirates site but nowhere to be found on Qantas. Does this mean they just don't do award seats on that flight??

Thanks for your help.

Awards in J and F can be hard to come by, and often book out as soon as they're released. Nab the 409 while it's available.

I am flying on ek407 wednesday night on a J award booked through QF. Booked about a week ago - so maybe short notice is better?

J and F are available everyday for months on the EK409. No listing at all for EK407 after about Nov this year. Strange.

Yeah I can see a fair amount from now until around November, then it disappears!
Wondering if it's been canned? But it's still on the EK site.
Not sure if I'm brave enough to leave it until last minute as we want 2 seats in F for our big honeymoon trip!

Enjoy the flight.

This is by far the most popular of the 3x daily MEL-DXB flights, and as such has the fewest seats available. I've rarely seen any J award seats on EK407, while I have on the morning departure from MEL. I would book the morning flight, or look at flying via PER if you prefer a later departure. (via ADL should also be available but you get a 777).

Yep, although I thought it was 340?

It used to be but recently changed to 330 days.
