I signed up to e-Rewards surveys a while back through an IHG offer and they have proved handy extending some mileage accounts (eg UA) plus topping up IHG, HH and VFF. But I just noticed that Accor is now there as a conversion option - is that new?

Not the greatest conversion rates: 2000 OPs -> 275 Le Club (Airline FF usually convert to ~500).

That aside, does anyone know if converting some points would preserve existing Le Club points if there is no annual stay?

Been an option for at least 18 months (I used them last year to help qualify Platinum - 6000 yields 1000 Le Club points.) Sadly won't count for status any more. Not sure about re-qual on that basis.

Thanks. Hadn't noticed the Le Club option before. Not fussed about status retention but just preserving accumulated points if I don't get a stay in.

Can't help regarding keeping points. I'd try and get an email from Le club so you know. It also takes a few days for any points from the e-rewards redemption to actually register.

Staying a night in an Accor qualified hotel extends the validity of the earned points.

One night a year (or so)?

Just wandering
