Hi All

Just had a question regarding Hilton benefits I am a HH Diamond through Macquarie Hiton Card. Never actually stayed at the Hilton group for a while

Planning a trip to Singapore and Hong Kong in Dec 17 and was planning to book the Conrad in each location

I have got Agoda $ 60 Amex statement credit for spend above $ 300 registered on multiple Amex so basically get $ 60 discount per night with booking through Agoda so by experience do people book direct with Hilton or a 3rd party booking and still received free breakfast and upgrade benefit if possible as diamond.

Please advise as booking through Agoda will multiple 1 night stays will save around $ 300 but I risk the HH honours benefit just not sure what to do

I've never booked 3rd party and stayed at hilton. I have read on here and flyer talk that you won't see any benefits.
Also just to note, I stayed at singapore conrad last year and the year before and found it was quite dated. Conrad Hong Kong rooms need a revamp too, but hong kong conrad has upgraded me from base room to suite on both stays while Conrad Singapore upgraded me to a deluxe or executive from base room which was pointless.

I'd advise to skip conrad Singapore, most you'd get upgraded is 1 room up.

Thanks for the Tip will find a different hotel for Singapore and for Hong Kong will book direct as also have one night gift certificate through the Macquarie Hilton card so one night is free

Didn't someone here report that the Conrad Singapore was in the process of having rooms updated?

The Honors terms indicate generally no status benefits for third party bookings made through entities such as Agoda.
