All Platinum, Gold and Silver members have the opportunity to pause their membership for a 6 month period if they are expecting a new addition to the family. Following this pause, members will resume their membership status for a further 12 months.

If i'm reading correctly, a membership pause effectively creates a new status review date 18 months from approval date? I qualified for platinum last month (and unlikely to requalify), and we're expecting a baby in March - so if I wait till late next year I can apply for a membership pause which will give me close to 18 months extra platinum status?

I am in a similar situation i was just going to ring and ask.... just made platinum today :)

To answer my own question, the status level is effectively maintained for 18 months from activation of membership pause. Very handy if you activate near your status review date if you were going to drop a level.

I was just coming here to see if anyone had covered this.

I'm sitting on gold and close to on track - but not certain to make the 400 status point level by September - but with a bub on the way due in July/August, I will certainly take advantage of this!

It's been a ride from "explore gold" (thanks flybuys), to full gold and hopefully onto membership pause to extend the journey!
