Alignment of SIA and VA Earning Rates

Quick question for the Australian Frequent Flyer brains trust.

Noting the updates to the Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer scheme have increased the earn rate on Discount Economy Fares in the K fare class from 10% to 50%, does anyone think the Velocity earn rate for K class on SIA will be brought into alignment (noting it currently sits at 0.1/mile).

I would say it is only a matter of time before the KF and the VFF earn rates are aligned.

However, I prefer the current earning rates as W still earns 100% miles and full Y SC with VFF.

Is that equivalent to the old SQ Flexi-Saver = Velocity Full-Fare Economy quirk?? That + family pooling is what's keeping me VA Gold since I stopped flying for work

No, I don't think it will change.

K currently falls into Discount Economy, which is the lowest partner earn class that VFF offers. The only lower option is ineligible for points/SC at all...
