From reliable handle EK413 on skyscrapercity:
"Sources have indicated QF JFK services will be relocating from Terminal 7 to Terminal 8 towards the end of September. I ain't sure if Terminal 8 is A380 equiped, however certainly makes a lot of sense considering Terminal 8 is owned by American Airlines (AA).”
Of course the LAX-JFK leg is a 747, continuing from BNE-LAX (and I suspect a chance of becoming a 787 from aircraft 5-8)
But the new AA lounge looks pretty nice, at least until BA finally updates it's T7 lounge, and certainly makes connections from the US East Coast and Caribbean a lot easier
