The view or two from my "office"

Oh , JohnM, your wasting away without good reds!

I'm baaack! :)

The Pinot Gris was very good IMO; the Shiraz had the pepper but was texturally blah. Not a patch on Plantagenet for good Great Southern Shiraz.

But it's baby steps - 4 weeks tomorrow since my prostatectomy. I'm doing well, but it's a little difficult talking to a couple of acquaintances who had the same operation (but open surgery, not robotic) several weeks before me and who are recovering more slowly. But, of course, I also have the major advantage of indulging only in Clean Living ;):):).

Looks about as sticky underfoot as when I was there last July. I hope you enjoyed Lake Ballard as much as I did - and the Menzies Hilton ;):p - and I trust that you observed their rigid RSA policy...:rolleyes:o_O:p.

Yup. Massive thunderstorms over the Goldfields on Friday evening. We couldn't land! Circled over Coolgardie for 30 minutes before returning to PER due to fuel getting low. New crew and made another attempt. Got in four hours late.

Given the rain, we went to the local KGI Target to buy a cheap pair of shoes for the mud. Lake Ballard was amazing. Loved it. Menzies Hilton...yeah, you don't want to stay the night there. Rest of is good. I'll write it up at some point.

Probably the best ICU view in Australia.
