Luggage transfer from 3K to CX with 12h stopover in SIN

Hi everyone,
I have flights with 3K and CX coming up in May:
CGK to SIN on 3K
12 hour stopover (arrive 12:40pm, depart 1:20am next day)
SIN-HKG-WUH on CX
The Jetstar site states that they will transfer luggage to CX (so therefore hopefully straight to WUH) but I am wondering whether the 12h stopover in SIN is going to be an issue?
If the bags can go straight through I can use the airside hotel for a rest (or lounge crawl for 12 hours). If I need to grab my bags in SIN and recheck I'll use one of the other hotels.

You'll be able to use the Transfer Desk in SIN to transfer your luggage to onward flights so no need to clear immigration and you can definitely use airside hotel.

Your only issue could be the timing of the CX transfer desk being open although there is CX flight to BKK around 3:00pm so transfer desk should be open.

With 12 hour layover, Singapore beckons. Even with 4 hours and ease to get to the city, being afternoon/night down in Clarke Quay/Little India/Orchard Road et al. enjoying the food and lifestyle. Even Sentosa or even a visit to MBS is worth getting out of the airport. Last week, from out of the aircraft to our downtown hotel was 46 minutes.

Are the flights on the same ticket?

If not, you cannot use the transfer desk in SIN to transfer between two 3K flights!!

I had two separate tickets on 3K KUL-SIN and SIN-PER. I had to go through immigration to get my boarding pass for my next flight and I was HLO.

All flights are on the same PNR and visible under my bookings on CX, 3K and QF.

You could have them on different PNRs and it won't be an issue with SIN transfer desk.

I've got an interesting one next week which I think is not eligible for transfer desk. Arrive on QF around 10:00pm at T1 and fly out on Air Asia around 9:00am from T4.

If I need to grab my bags in SIN and recheck I'll use one of the other hotels.

Even if you are required to collect bags there is no need to do so immediately. On arrival you can remain airside and head straight to your hotel. Once finished at the hotel, go to arrivals immigration and your bags will have been collected and stored for you at the left luggage office (immediately adjacent to the reclaim belts). Just need to make sure you 'enter' singapore through the terminal at which your flight landed (mainly applicable if you ned to use a transit hotel in another terminal).
