A new "high" on QF First [Denied sparkling water before departure from LAX]

over blown journalism maybe with a grain of truth and the boulder remains untouched.

Absolutely disgusting. Since having major surgery some years ago it is very difficult for me to swallow still water, it feels like swallowing concrete. So I must have sparkling water. Being denied sparkling water like that is a very poor decision by Qantas and a PR disaster.
I’ve never seen sparkling water served in a tertiary ICU to patients post surgery. I hope that doesn’t get out, because it may be a PR disaster for ICUs.

Scott K your an Intern so I am not surprised you have never seen. o_O

That gave me a laugh! I did look at my ‘status’ the other day and think ‘intern now hey? I wonder if i’ll ever be a consultant’.
Once your a consultant I fear your posting may be erratic. We would wait until u retire. LOL

Forgot to post on this subject even though I did some research in the field because of this thread. My last two times through SIN I asked for sparkling water and it was delivered without a problem. Note: this did not affect the consumption of the other type of pre-flight bubbles.
