Are Qantas Flight vouchers eligible for this offer?

Flight Vouchers purchased and redeemed for an eligible flight booking will earn double Status Credits. Flight Vouchers purchased but not redeemed for an eligible flight booking during the promotion period will not earn double Status Credits.

What do you make of the wording regarding gift vouchers?

The second sentence is intended to form a caveat on the first.

Buy a Voucher tomorrow (12th) and redeem it Saturday (13th) = eligible.

Buy a Voucher tomorrow (12th) and redeem it Wednesday (17th) = ineligible.

But it is poorly worded and leaves some room for confusion.

Just as ambiguous as always given the dont define the "promotion period".

Try another browser, I've read IE works reliabily. Also wait until 11am Sydney time as registrations before 0000 GMT have had issues in past years.

Fascinating. I wish I knew the thinking behind this offer. On the face of it, frequent DSC offers simply devalue SC's, based on supply and demand. I do however note that the "use by" date on this offer is June 19, which makes quite a difference. Those who can book ahead probably have this period covered from the previous offer. In a way, it's really an extension of the purchase window from the last offer.

Interesting. I got a targeted 50% SC bonus offer 2 days ago. I registered and was planning to book a couple of flights today actually.

Hopefully registering for the DSC offer (when it actually hits my inbox) will supersede that for any bookings I make in the next week. Though it's slightly redundant as I've prequalified for SG but am way too far off WP to go chasing DSCs.

From the T&C: Full or part travel of an itinerary is eligible only if you book (regardless of payment date) and travel within the promotional dates as listed above.

It's not 11th October in UTC/GMT yet. I'd recommend re-registering in another 10 minutes.

This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Only one bonus Status Credits offer can be applied to an eligible flight segment. If you qualify for multiple bonus offers, the offer first registered for will be applied to each individual eligible segment.
