Initiative Q ... what a clickbait headline when inserted into a forum for frequent flyers that's based in Australia! It sounds like the latest and greatest "enhancement" from Qantas. :p:D

Sure it does. Ripple is a cryptocurrency right? The FAQ I linked to is specifically aimed at the question of what makes this different to a cryptocurrency?

Ripple is a real-time gross settlement system, currency exchange and remittance network created by Ripple Labs Inc., a US-based technology company. Ripple is built upon a distributed open source internet protocol, and supports tokens representing fiat currency, cryptocurrency, commodities, or other units of value such as frequent flier miles or mobile minutes.[3][4] Released in 2012, Ripple purports to enable "secure, instantly and nearly free global financial transactions of any size with no chargebacks."

This link will stop working once I’m out of invites. Let me know after you registered, because I need to verify you on my end.

"This is a new currency and payment network built by ex-PayPal guys, called Initiative Q. The Q currency is currently being allocated for free if you are invited by an existing member. The idea is that if millions of people join, Q could become a leading payment network, and, according to well-known economic models, that means the value of the reward would be around $130,000. The amount you reserve decreases every day, and each member has a limited number of invites. You can use my invite link here: Initiative Q (Don’t worry. No funny stuff. You just need to give your name and email and your spot is reserved)."

Has anyone heard from me?! I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Once I rego nothing happens. Maybe I've inadvertently signed up more than once and lost all the accounts.

It may be the web site is snowed under - I twice received a blank screen after clicking a referral a link. I kept trying.

Also, try a different browser.
