The view from my "office"

Nothing beats a nice sunny, warm, Autumn morning. Love the array of colours. Shots taken in Surrey, UK on my usual most exciting activity for the week as life currently stands, a walk to the supermarket and back.

It's called the hog pit IIRC. Earlier this year it was filled with water, first time I've seen that happen since we moved here, had a fair bit of rain.... It's also used as the platform for the fireworks and then the bonfire for our local bonfire night, always a decent show and turnout. Alas with COVID-19 this year there will be no November 5 celebrations this time but we have lots in our cupboard so will do our own display 😁

Stayed on the bridge for a while then walked around that side. From the bank it appeared again and did a couple of rolls for me.No more than a metre away.
