Received my Schoolhouse CabSav (Coonawarra 2019) from VM yesterday.
Tried it over a dinner and unfortunately wasn't to my liking. FWIW uses a Diam cork

The 2018 was excellent. Maybe it needs a little time

It did taste better the next day. I think it does need time but still felt a bit single dimensional.
I think I was bit spoiled by Reschke CabSavs I got from VM earlier this year. Those were magnificent.

I believe Headmaster is a different wine - VM sells it for about $15 when available.

Roger that, the reason I fingered that wine is the duplication of the exact description contained on this page.

Hello again...the whole Churchview range was mostly brilliant. the wild fermented riesling outstanding, the st johns zinfandel i have a few of, the bartondale their higher range hasnt quite done it for me though. Have a few left i think. Strange, the dearest one.Another St johns GSM was suuupurb.
