Following on from status extensions through Feb 2023, I received another email from IHG.

Yea got my Platinum extended to Feb 2023
Can anyone confirm if there is anywhere on the IHG website (under My Account) they actually show when your status and/or points expire .. I never liked this with IHG .. similar for the Ambassador program. I can't figure out why programs aren't more obvious with the dates ..Accor is good at showing this.

Well points never expire if you are elite.
Status runs until the end of February for everyone.
And my Ambassador free weekend night has the date to be used by in the My account section.I know because I have just booked mine.well before my March 1 use by date.

On the website, when you're on the My Account page, click on Member Materials. The card should have a date on it - if you are Ambassador, it will be the date your Ambassador expires.

The status Expiry date is in the App, but as far as I can tell, not on the website (go figure)

And if you have elite status, points won't expire.

As a non status "Club" member, I get to see expiry on the website.

Log on and from "my account", select "Points" and voila!

The good news is that it seems my points extension has now been applied for another year. (My last activity was mid December 2020)

Bingo. Strange it is not on the card under member materials ..I think it was in the last but perhaps my Ambassador status lapsing this month has caused an issue.. but I did find it now under earning summary mid page ..thanks!

Interesting I don't have the bit about points expiring under my Available Points
