Had my heart set on staying at the Hydro for years. Recommend it @drron ?

I agree with Ron - dinner was great. But the rooms are small and dated. No lift to the second / third floor so you have to carry your luggage up a lot of stairs. Bathroom is miniscule, sitting on the loo my knees hit the wall and I am 5' 6" !! Heating was on full blast, room was still not warm. If you don't have a room facing the valley, road noise could be a problem.

The horses and riders/trainers. The horses take absolutely no notice of whips cracking around their heads. Not even a flick of their ears.

You can see the lightweight saddle on the ground next to the sitting horse. No girth. The rider balances himself when mounting the horse as well as when riding.
