What shares are the companies in?

They are fractional shares in major companies on the NASDAQ. When you claim them, you randomly get 1 of the 4 shown, and usually you get Telsla (TSLA) which is the cheapest one worth about USD $8. The others are worth more: Apple USD $20, Amazon USD $40 or Google USD $100. From the ozbargain thread it seems that you have about a 1 in 25 chance of getting a higher priced one.

But even if you get 12 x Telsla fractional shares, these are worth USD $96 which is about AUD $146.

To summarise what you need to do:
* Open an account with a referral link (you need to provide proof of address such as a bank statement and ID)
* Wait a few hours after applying to get an approval email
* Deposit any amount of money eg $1 by bank transfer
* You will then receive 6 free shares (I received them within 10 minutes as my payment went through as a fast payment)
* You need to keep the money ($1) in your account for 14 days
* On the 15th day, the remaining 6 free shares will arrive
* Sell your shares and withdraw your funds

And this deal expires tomorrow - although better to do it early as they take a few hours to verify your account.

Looks like webull has restarted the promotion but dropped the referee reward to 6 shares now, worth about $54AUD ($36USD) minimum (more if you're lucky). Referrer gets 12.

I did and my account is showing but only cash available is the $0.01 I deposited . Even though there is cash of $600 through share sale . Is there a settlement period ?
