Accor Launches Yet Another Subscription Program

Aside from Accor+ and the various business discount cards Accor has made available in the past, they have now launched two new discount programs:

• ALL Plus Voyager: 20% discount in 10 Luxury and Premium brands and a 15% discount on nine midscale and economy brands covering almost 4000 hotels globally. In addition, members receive 20 status nights each year
• ALL Plus: 15% discount on almost 2000 ibis budget, ibis and ibis styles properties globally excluding PRC with members receiving a 10 status night bonus every year

At present Accor is offering a 20% discount on these subscription cards until May 2nd 2023.

I wasn't able to check the price or even subscribe to either plan since Accor states that I'm already an Accor+ member and can only be a member of one of these programs. Which makes me wonder which program (ALL Plus vs Accor+) is more valuable in terms of discounts and benefits globally. Certainly the ALL Plus Voyager is more advantageous in the sense that one earns 20 elite nights just for signing up.

I just wonder if current AccorPlus will be forced to choose one of these lesser offers. Fewer brands included in Voyager than current Plus i.e. it excludes Fairmont.

I havent decided if there is value in renewing my AccorPlus i rarely dine at hotels (although is good if at a resort) will see what is offered in June and how it aligns with travel plans.

ATM im finding IHG hotels nicer.

Yes but the handcuffs can be quite lovely, especially if you're like me and are looking for those sweet $100/night rooms in major cities like Mildura, Orange or even Hobart!

I am surprised that Accor isn't offering their accelerator this year for Accor+ members (which would give you anywhere from 10 to 20 nights stay credit when you stay one night at an Accor property). One thing that I do find confusing is whether Accor+ provides the same discounts as the Voyager - my understanding was the discounts were only for hotels in Asia-Pacific region.

If you can find Red Hot rooms at the places you'd stay at then yes it can be a boon. Case in point two weeks ago I needed a hotel in Sydney CBD and saw that there was an Accor+ Red Hot Room Rate of $115/night for the Ibis Sydney Barangaroo. Similarly earlier this week I stayed at the Pullman Sydney Airport for $155/night again booked as a red hot room.

At least in Asia Pacific I'd say it depends on your status level with Accor. Certainly as a Platinum I am finding that I am indeed being treated better with free breakfast (which at most properties is better than what goes for breakfast at a Holiday Inn Express), welcome gift, upgraded room, etc. Heck, even where I'm staying now (Ibis Luzern Kriens), as a Platinum I have been given a corner room on the top floor.

The Asia Pacific & India Accor Plus cards will both continue their growth trajectory and be rebranded within the ALL PLUS Family in 2024

It's hard to know what they will do. Keep in mind that the two supposedly new cards of this thread, are themselves rebrands

• The Business Plus card became ALL PLUS Voyageur
• ibis Business Card became ALL PLUS ibis

There did however rejig of the rules. Such as giving status nights, instead of straight out status.

With a bit of luck, the refresh of AccorPlus will give 10 free status nights a year, in place of the current Silver membership.

I’ve got an upcoming booking in Fiji in sept. I got the 10% discount using Accor plus (which paid for itself twice over). Wonder if it’s worth cancelling the booking and signing up for one of the new (rebranded) cards for 20% off? This would effectively save me another $800 or so

The problem is Accor will only let you sign up for one of these programs (i.e. either Accor Plus or ALL Plus). It would be nice if all of the discounts from the ALL Plus program would carry forward to Accor Plus given the price tag of the latter.

The main problem is the fact that the discount is absolutely not guarantee! Even though it is written everywhere on their website.

It doesn't matter if it is an Ibis or Sofitel, sometimes Accor won't take your membership into account. Why? After some digging on my side, there are some dates when there is no discount and some hotels doesn't apply the discount at all. Even if it is a participant hotel and listed brand!
There is no way to know that without a card!

Last person I've contacted seems stone. knows nothing, said he will forward my request to IT.

Is there a minimum discount Accor guarantees or is it possible that members of this program receive the same rates as the usual Member rate any Tom, Dick n' Harry can get? The other thing I would be curious is where you are searching? Is it primarily in Asia Pacific (where Accor Plus dominates) or are you looking in Europe where potentially these cards are designed for (I'll leave out North America since quite frankly there aren't any Accor hotels there).

I don't see why you would like to spend an extra 100€ to add 10 status nights. The benefits are not worth the price in my opinion. On reviews (Sofitel SGP), you can see people complaining that the welcome drink is just a milk tea sent to the room after check in.
And for the room upgrade has too many conditions attached to it....

There is no minimum discount and yes you can pay exactly the same price than free members.
I am searching meanly in Asia but the card is supposed to work worldwide.
But the biggest frustration is a lack of customer care. It is very frustrating to have nobody answering your questions and nobody cares about your problems.

For the status nights perk, I could certainly see it being valuable to someone who comes close to earning Platinum which IMHO is a good status to have at Accor, especially if most of your stays are within Asia Pacific where you get things like free breakfast, the occasional upgrade to a suite and decent welcome gifts such as a bottle of wine or fruit platter in your room.

But I should remind everyone on this forum chasing status be it with hotels or airlines, that status means absolutely nothing if you don't use the status regularly. At the end of the day, it's all about doing a cost benefit analysis. For me in Australia who travels quite a bit domestically, Accor status makes sense. They've got the most hotels, their rates are often the cheapest, and the benefits of status aren't bad. Now maybe I'm not the target audience for Platinum or Accor+. After all, I'm the type who would book a red hot room at the ibis Sydney Darling Harbour for $100 then use my Platinum benefits to get free breakfast and an upgrade.

The only value I could see in that card is if you travel regularly to Europe since that card could potentially offer some good savings in that region. I know some folks will point out that Accor has hotels in North America, but I mean c'mon finding one there is like finding a Ritz Carlton in Australia. It is my understanding that with Accor Plus, the hotel discounts are limited to the APAC region. It would certainly be appreciated if Accor could extend the discounts globally to match these worldwide Accor cards.

I wouldn't do it either, but you could.

The interesting thing I found was that you could combine all the subsrciption programs except Accor Plus.

Because of the way Accor Plus program has been built back in 1994, so far Accor Plus is the only subscription product you cannot coughulate with other subscription cards.
