Why all the delays at OOL today?

QF having a total shocker at OOL today. Lounge is heaving and beyond capacity. Even later flights are clearly being delayed

Anyone know what’s going on?

Same for JQ441 until its cancellation. Looks like QF597 is also the last QF flight of the day before the lounge closes, so the later JQ flights should not be showing a status of "Relax"?

It's ok, the signage is telling you to relax about this.

Same for JQ441 until its cancellation. Looks like QF597 is also the last QF flight of the day before the lounge closes, so the later JQ flights should not be showing a status of "Relax"?

Not sure signage for ANY JQ flight should say relax!

Yep that’s not 8/8 blue for sure! As I was in sunny QLD I had no clue about the weather down south.

We had terrible weather this morning on the Gold Coast. Was woken up about 0530 by the mother of all storms.

At about 0830 the cloud base was lower than the Q1 & Peppers buildings.

There was also a power outage in the terminal which delayed the mid-morning departures.
