Just had a look for VA reward seats on the PER-XCH and PER-CCK routes, and couldn't find a single one any time in the next year. Is VA blocking redemptions on this route?

Unfortunately award seats have not been available on this route for some time now....it is an expensive route (even in Y...in fact no J on this route) so was a good use of points when I went in 2016.

Flights to the Indian Ocean Territories are provided under contract, as they are not commercially viable as standalone flights. You'll often see exemptions in offer T&Cs for these two destinations.

No other airline flies this routing do they, tho?
I think on the Au to both islands, only VA does it.

Ah, I stand corrected, and will admit it, from Dr Google, GA flies a weekly charter flight from CGK, but according to the Parks Au website, from Aust, only VA does it.

Looks like the PER run to the islands isn't a daily service either.
