Just when you thought you had seen it all in the Qantas lounge...

If the issue is smelly people, why not bar people who smell rather than try to catch them with the clothes they might be wearing? Or is this more about social class than body odour?
There’s stinky types around, and nothing classy about that

There is no dress code for international lounges (or non-capital city domestic lounges)

I think you have called the colours correctly.
Well that depends if one is talking politics (and in that sense, which country's?) or airlines?

so would be be Red Roo for the rules types and (Virgin) Blue for the rebels?

Anyway back to the smell issue.. you have the exact same issue as the subjective one of clothing imo.

Do we also include people who overdose with the perfume/aftershave and can have an overpowering effect on those around them as "smelly"? It may not be dirt or sweat, but a really strong perfume can be just as difficult for some.

So then what?

And what of smokers - where that smell clings to clothes (so showers don't help) and can be offputting to some.

slippery slope there.

I know the "smelly people" discussion is not serious in terms of oh there should be a "smell code" rather than a "dress code" so I'm just adding some points to the conversation rather than anything else.

"Make QF domestic lounges dress code free Again"?

there's a slogan for a hat some some kind of colour :D
