Hi AFF,

Im looking at booking some premium cabin flights (via CR) towards Asia. I have found a first class availability for 1x pax SYD to SIN Mid October. I am gold status.

The complicating factor is that I need two seats.

Has anyone had luck booking 1x seat and then trying their luck for a 2nd second seat immediately after?
If I was to book the 1x seat and then subsequently cancel within 24 hours - do I forfeit the taxes ($350) and the 6,000 cancellation point fee?

Thanks all

If the 2nd reward seat is not there now, it is almost certain none will open up if you grab the one you have found. Since you are not Platinum or higher, you cannot request release if a 2nd seat either.

Of course more availability may open later on, but probably unlikely and it would be a big gamble.

If you cancel your taxes/charges will be refunded.
