Rumour going around that MH is looking at the A320/A321

Rumours are going around that MH is seriously looking at the A320neo and A321XLR following another set of delays on the deliveries of their 737-8 and further issues with the 737-10.
I think it would be a good move in the long-term. The A321XLR would work well for them.
 
And they already operate A350, A332/3 and the new A330neo

We'll probably hear more about all sorts of orders at farnborough airshow in just over a week.
 
They would be foolish if they weren't looking. At everything. All of the time. Any deliveries would probably be a long way down the track though.
 
 
Haven’t heard further about the reasons behind MH grounding of A330neo in Dec 2024, maybe the reason for move to order more 737, although I suspect Boeing’s struggle with production capacity and quality control, may mean the announcement may not go further than just News for Boeing investors
