Hey All,

Potentially looking at a flight MEL-SYD via Virgin in the evening, then SYD-KUL via SIN and SQ the next morning. Will be in one booking.

Will the bags be checked through from MEL-KUL straight? or do I need to pick my luggage at SYD, and check it in the next morning?

Thanks

No overnight baggage at SYD, so bag drop required.

Thanks, how about similar scenario but Brisbane instead of Sydney?

MEL-BNE Virgin (overnight stay)
BNE - SIN-KUL SQ (Next morning)
Nup ... AFAIK, domestically there is no through check in relation to next day connections irrespective of that connection being international or not.

Would MEL have it if you arrived for say the ungodly EK departure?
