Hi team,

Quick question for the room - has Virgin changed how its desktop (and mobile, I guess) search system works? In the past, I've been able to search between two, non-VA linked cities with ease - e.g. ADD-KUL by editing the codes in the search bar, and options on Qatar would come up.

Now, similar searches are being met with 'no available flights' despite the fact if I search ADD-DOH and DOH-KUL, the flights are there.

Anyone else having an issue? I suppose if needed I could call to book, but would they honor the 'linked price' (ADD-KUL - 104,000 points - instead of ADD-DOH and DOH-KUL - 5X,000+6X,000 points)?

I think email support and let them know, they are probably changing their search to only include QR and it's having side-effects.

What happens if you select ‘Reward Points’ instead of ‘Currency’ when searching?

I was never under the 'currency' banner, as I was searching reward seats as per thread title
Yes, I can see the same results.
Maybe a call to the Guest Contact Centre might do the trick.
In a similar vein, QF for many years had various ports that couldn’t be booked online - but could be with a phone call.
