From Jason Reitman, the Oscar® nominated director of 'Juno', comes a dramatic comedy called 'UP IN THE AIR' starring Oscar® winner George Clooney as Ryan Bingham, a corporate downsizing expert whose cherished life on the road (that has him practically living out of Hilton Hotels) is threatened just as he is on the cusp of reaching ten million frequent flyer miles and after he’s met the frequent-traveler woman of his dreams.

The email includes a form to RSVP and to bring a guest. I'm thrilled because, as a Perth flyer, I'll be in Melbourne that night. I'll know in a day or so whether or not I can guest someone.

Definitey no offence taken.I was just making an oblique reference to the policy of Hilton when they increased points taken for award nights.Some diamond members were compensated with a free night-an official Hhonors rep on FT said it only went to the most valued diamond members(oz_mark was right i was wrong).Great PR as all those diamonds who didnt get the offer were mightily displeased.
Seems HPC went to the same school of diplomacy.

Thanks, drron. Seems strange to me that HPC wouldn't send the email out to everyone. They could at least say it's only open to the first x number of people. My registered address is in Perth and it's only by a wing and a prayer that I'll be in Melbourne at the time.
