Our Crimson Rosella visitors to the Nutt's back yard office. They're a bit messy but still great guests to have.

Day trip to Batemans Bay yesterday (Saturday), grabbed a tea and coffee from 134 Espresso Bar in Braidwood then great fish n chips from 3 Fish in the Bay. Cracker of a day.

Afternoon swim at McKenzie's Beach, Malua Bay before heading home. Water was crystal clear, refreshing but not that cold. Busy little spot.

Off to Shell Harbour in a couple of weeks, looking forward to that!

My late mother and late sister lived at Surf Beach and Broulee.
McKenzies Beach is one of my top favourite beaches in the world

Many thanks to @Coops1for his suggestion of the Embassy bar. I had a coughtail and a glass of wine and something to eat and watched the sunset. I actually had two glasses of wine but one of them I spilled all over the table and they were kind enough to give me another one.

Thank you for taking me back. I used to Xmas in a house on the hill in the 3rd photo of Malua Bay back in the late 70’s, early 80’s. Used to swim in Malua Bay and ride a blue polystyrene board (I can see the wave height hasn’t changed much), then go rock fishing with my dad. Memories.
