Qantas' Impending Change to Tokyo Flight Schedule

I just checked the reservation and can see a confirmed QF80 sector now on the booking (in class D), so requested an e-ticket to see if the agent ended up working some magic - but nope, the e-ticket itself is unchanged, so I imagine the sector will drop off at some stage.
The new e-ticket may not be available yet and could take some days, regardless of what is showing in MMB. You will just get copies of the old e-ticket until then. Fingers crossed.

Sorry i just saw 11:05> 11:05 according to MMB and got confused with a nothing change until i checked my original e ticket and saw it was 11:10 to 11:05
I Saw similar with an award QF62 in June. Departing 10 minutes earlier but the Qantas app has options to change flight or cancel for full refund.

Email came through now. "Will be automatically issued a new e-ticket". I wonder why the options to change exist if they're going to do it this way.

Another one for a SIN-MEL flight in June. 5 minute arrival change. Nothing to see here (in the context of this thread).

I’ve had flights shift three times on the same booking in the last month - the first requires me to accept/cancel the changes and the last two (On QF) I was automatically issued new etickets without the option of accepting/cancelling. All were 5-10 minute changes.

Does the automatic issuance of new etickets mean I can’t call up and cancel without penalty?

No.

Hi everyone I just got the notification that my QF26 (flight is in Sept) got changed and now departing 6.55am instead of 6.40am.

Then I received a "travel document" email but no new e-ticket. I just checked Rj and it is showing the new updated flight times but no change to e-ticket number. I checked Qantas and when I try to send a copy, it still showing old flight times. Will this update later on from others experience or did people get a new e-ticket number ?

Also just for a reference point, notification on Qantas about the change asking me to sign into manage booking but by the time I got home to check properly on the desktop I got the email that you don't have to do anything and new travel doc got sent ? No option to choose alternate flights either when I went into manage booking.

So then I tried to call to see and used this new contact us option where they give you a number and a code to quote. Anyone else have had this experience ? I am still on hold as I am typing this haha 😂

Oh look. I have another email from Qantas.

My flight from HND is at leaving the same time, but landing 5 minutes later than originally scheduled.

I think I can live with that :) .

I had something similar on an NRT flight. It gave some great self service options including rebooking on JAL instead of QF but I decided to cancel the reward seat instead.
