Qantas Delays/Cancellations

Anyone know why the delay on QF 12 from LAX to Sydney tonight... currently at 4 hours and yet to depart.

We are keen to know as we are on QF11 tomorrow and for the past 5 years we almost always have some flight hiccup!!!
The QF 64 normally forms the QF11.. either the 2 or the 12 forms the 63..

Thursday nights QF12 ex LAX now leaving Friday 1400 to arrive Syd Sat night 2250..

I hope so, as the QF 12 is now delayed to depart until 2pm tomorrow.
That’s what I said above. VH-OQD is the delayed plane at LAX. OQG is currently in LHR and 5 are currently flying so something will have to give on Saturday to either delay the 1 or the 11. The 93 on Saturday is OQA so unless they cancel that and position it to SYD my money is on the 1 being delayed to a Sunday morning departure. Good luck!

Another significant delay on Saturday 5 April is QF1, the 1550 hours SYD-SIN-LHR that is to be A388 VH-OQD. It is instead forecast to push back at 0700 hours on Sunday 6. Instead of departing Singapore at 2325 hours late tonight, it is expected to do so at 1340 tomorrow afternoon (1540 AEST).

This is due to OQD being hugely late as QF12 from LAX to SYD, arriving tonight at a projected 2241 hours just before curfew, 911 minutes late.
