Lounge Opening Times for SQ248 - MEL to SIN?

Would love to know if I qualify for the first class lounge given that the second part of the linked ticket is in first class and SQ 248 doesn’t have a first class cabin, so I can’t exactly upgrade.
If you do not try, you will not know. Please report back on what happens

On a mixed class booking, where you have paid for the highest class of travel on a through fare, you are entitled to the higher class of lounge access at all points.

I don’t know if that carries to a situation where you have upgraded just one sector.

As serfty suggests, you might need to see what invitation you get issued at check-in.

The million dollar question is if the lounge is open especially for SQ 248 and knowing that flight doesn’t have any first class passengers can we assume the first class lounge will remain closed.

When I took SQ 248 I was the only passenger in the lounge (as a Supplementary Soilitaire card holder).

It was a quiet affair and the lounge was more or less unstaffed in between ordering food and the food being delivered to me. The staffing in the lounge in usually minimal when expecting a very small number of passengers, so not out of the ordinary.

Morning,

Hoping someone might know this answer, as i have been given the run around by SQ.

I am travelling J on SQ 248 on the 18th of April - MEL to SIN - the flight departs at 0555

The lounge opening times in MEL (from SQ.com) state

Opening
hours
0735 to 1000 hours
1340 to 1900 hours
2135 to 0000 hours

Seems a little strange they dont have a lounge open to service their own flight.

I have spoken to a few SQ team members and they have advised me to wait until check in and ask, which is not a premium experience.

Hoping someone has travelled this flight in the past few weeks, and can let me know if the lounge is actually open and their website is just incorrect.
Just wanting to check in and see how it went? Was first class lounge open or only business for SQ 248
