Not sure if the PDS has dropped, but on the Qantas Pay app, it tells you the new bank transfer/BPAY details that you need to use from 30 April 2025.

The new Qantas Pay app has been released today, and with it, the Qantas Pay card is available via Apple Wallet/Google Wallet.

I couldn’t see anything in the app about adding to Apple wallet but I was able to add anyway by just scanning the card.

The catch is you need to have a Qantas Pay card (not the old card that doubled over as your Frequent Flyer card), but you can request a new card, which you can then add to your Apple/Google wallet straight away.

Haven’t they all the old cards been cancelled anyway? ie can’t use them as a physical card either.

I can only see one QF money related app in the store and I’m using it. V3.34.4.

Haven’t they all the old cards been cancelled anyway? ie can’t use them as a physical card either.

The old cards are still valid until their current expiry date (mine was sometime in 2032), so for the infrequent user, there's still a good 6-7 years away before the last of the old cards will expire.

Looks like they're trying to encourage people to switch to Qantas Pay though, such as only offering Apple/Google wallet through Qantas Pay, and features like changing your PIN through the app only available via Qantas Pay etc.

I can only see one QF money related app in the store and I’m using it. V3.34.4.

I was able to download the Qantas Pay app through the iOS app store. I think Qantas Money is still the first one that comes up in the search but Qantas Pay is underneath that one

Odd, that app didn’t show at all just searching “QANTAS” but there when I put the magic work in “Pay” as well…!

TBH, not sure why they didn’t just pull the old app?

When I went to add my card to my Apple Wallet, it said to do this I needed to arrange a new Qantas Pay card. When I accepted that that triggered the new card.

Otherwise, I guess you could go through the 'Card lost, stolen or damaged', which I assume will trigger a new card

Pretty sure it's in the old app - which is still available. I requested a new card a while back thinking it was going to come as a new FF card but it was just the QF Pay card.

The new app just list phone numbers to call for lost or stolen....
