Hi All,

Next month I have a booking flying from BNE to ADL, connecting to a couple of Qatar flights off to Europe. Not the best itinerary but it’s Qatar business class using AA points so happy to do it. However, does anyone know if the Qantas Club check-in at BNE can check me through to my final destination in Frankfurt, or will I need to go to the BNE international connections check-in?

It’s a six hour stopover in ADL so I’m not going to be in a hurry there.

Thanks

No reason why the lounge area checkin before security cannot through check you.

You may need to try the international connections desk in the main check-in area of the domestic terminal

Departing Brisbane with international connections via any other port, including ADL in your case, requires check-in on the main terminal concourse.

The premium lounge entry has been instructed to no longer do international checkin*.

* I have seen CLs get away with it.

I wonder if that’s because it may take more time? It’s not to far to walk to the international check in desk, no priority though

I’m a lowly Gold, and was able to check in luggage at the premium entry late February, BNE-SYD-BKK-HAN and that last sector was on TG
