If you have Gold status (50K, 75K or Super Elite) with Air Canada you get lounge access on Virgin domestic but no other perks therefore if travelling a lot within Australia it'd make sense to switch over.Collecting with Velocity or Aeroplan Domestically... Hello! I am an Air Canada (AC) Star Alliance Gold member. Newly moved to Australia. I have a Star Alliance Visa Card. I fly within Australia a lot and I'm wondering if, now that I have GOLD Status with AC, is it more advantageous to sign up onto Virgin Velocity Rewards and collect on domestic flights there, or should I continue to collect points on my AC account?
