Luxury Hotel Bed Sheets

Many years ago I fell in love with the pillows at the Holiday Inn in Darwin, I decided to take one home with me and talking to the GM he said no worries, I was a regular guest at the hotel. I know the Holiday Inn is not always luxury but these pillows were so comfy, I am lying on one now as a type. That pilfered pillow is long gone but when I had it I was looking at getting more, imagine my surprise to find it came from a source 15km from my home on the sunny coast according to the tab:

You might want to see what they offer, I am in no way associated with this company, just enjoy their products.

Look at thread count in your sheets, the higher the better, I believe they cheat these days but you want a “real” count of over 1000. Sheet Thread Count Explained: What is thread count and why does it matter?

Probably needs at least a dozen iterations of washing & “soaking in human oils” (ew!) to give them that soft feeling in combination with the crisp “fresh” feeling, IMHO.

That’s a myth:

Long staple yarns, like Egyptian cotton, will result in a softer, more durable fabric at a lower thread count.
Also, the way a textile is woven may result in a higher thread count, but it's not necessarily what you desire to sleep in, night after night (hot sleepers, we're talking to you).

It's been over 20 years so might be different now (used to be made in Au) but Actil were/are great if you like thick white cotton sheets.

Does anyone know if it’s possible to buy hotel quality bed sheets?
We need a few fitted sheets ect… and when thinking back we liked the sheets in most luxury / 5 star hotels we stayed at.
What did you like about the sheets to want to replicate it at home? The thickness of the fabric, the softness, that snap from the threadcount & commercial laundry starch?

I use to swear by these sheets from BedBathBeyond, beautiful thickness and feel, very much like hotels bedding : LUXE Sheet Set

But for summer, I love the Lad Collective sheets. Much softer than the above, bamboo sheets, and cooler for summer but they dont have the thread stiffness of the above sheets

Someone recommended these but they are expensive 100% Flax Linen Bed Sheets | Linen Duvets | Luxe Bedding

Sheridan have good sales at their shops and I found some of the top class ones were excellent

It keeps defaulting to the UK because that's where I am but Bedthreads au is the site

I must admin that I do like the extra large Hilton pillows. Thank you for the links.
Looking for the softness of the sheets mainly.

ta but it was the bedthreads that was defaulting to UK

I did buy some sheets from Kmart because they had the colour I wanted and thought they were great for the price

If you happed to live in Melbourne there's a shop called "Abode" in Camberwell Rd opposite the town hall, which sells Actil hotel quality sheets (in fact I think that's how they are branded. Had them for my childrens' beds & the kids would wear out before the sheets did

interesting I thought the Actil brand had gone and replaced by Sheridan but obviously not

Top hotels mainly have Frette sheets but they're quite expensive.

Try this cotton sateen range from Sheridan when it's on sale, I'm very happy with them:

I bought a bunch of gift cards at the supermarket and used them at the Sheridan Outlet.
